Stringing Lights

Hi everyone.  Today's fun card is for two challenges ... Paper Players (PP#124 - Theme:  Snowman) and Less Is More (LIM96 - Color:  Red and Green).  This adorable snowman is a digi image from Bugaboo ... and he's having trouble getting the string of lights onto the tree :)  At least they aren't in one big ball like my Christmas lights!  Hope you like.

Stamps:  Old Snow Star (Bugaboo); Handy Christmas Greetings (Amy R)
Paper:  White (C.C. Designs); Old Olive, Red Glimmer (SU!)
Ink:  Bashful Blue, Basic Black, Basic Gray (SU!); Copics YG95, YG99, E44, E77, R29, R59, R17
Accessories & Tools:  Big Shot, Christmas Tree #2 die-cut (Sizzix), Christmas Bulbs die-cut (C.C. Designs); Honeydew Twine (The Twinery), sponges, adhesives, glue, and dimensionals

The snowman's hat is colored with a Basic Gray SWM ... the rest of the snowman is colored with copics.  The die-cut is a string of bulbs ... so I cut the individual bulbs from that and glued them onto the twine.  The tree and snow have sponged edges to give them depth and interest.

Here's a close-up of the snowman:

Congrats on your Elegant Poinsettia card! This light-strung snowman is so cute! It's awsome what a little sponge and ink brings to the overall wow factor. And what a labor of love to glue each bulb individually!
