Sweet Summer

Hi everyone.  I made this as a CASE of the Muse card by Laurie Willison - LOVE her card!  It was fun to pull out my summery dies and papers and make a cheerful card on a very dreary and rainy day here on the West Coast.  Don't get me wrong ... I am thankful that we've had a mild winter and I hope that the deep freeze and stormy conditions on the east coast of Canada and the U.S. ease soon.  I have missed having snow, though ... we only had one day a while back, where there was just a light dusting.  So for now, rain, rain and more rain - I always have my umbrella handy. :)

I mentioned before that I got a few crafty toys for Christmas, plus I just received an order from Simon Says in the mail today.  Lots of fun goodies to play with but no where to put them.  My studio looks like a bomb went off.  Jer stopped by today and asked how the organizing was going since he thought I had pulled everything out to get started.  Nope ... haven't started - it's just a mess. :)

Off to check out blogs and see what's new with my friends.  Hope you enjoy the card and check out the Muse #49 challenge and play along - so fun!!

Your gingham sun is so delightful. We had sun and warmer temps today. Yea!
Love your gingham and striped Washi tape, too. Still trying to remember to use mine.

This is just such a happy card, Loll...love the colors! Had to chuckle about your studio...always love getting new goodies but like you, it's a struggle to reorganize to make it fit! Good luck!

This really is a cheery & sunshine-y card. It was the perfect make on a rainy day (which we are to have starting tomorrow. At least our temp got to 40-45 today..much warmer). I hope you share pictures of your organized stamp room. I need some good inspiration..(not that I'm apt to get busy & follow any of it - mind!). Hope you are getting DH onto the lightbox project too. Bet you are enjoying that new little grandbaby as well. You have a lot going on right now...so amazing to see you even have time or energy to make these beautiful cards. TFS & Hugs.

Can't imagine your studio looking a mess, Loll - it was so tidy when I saw it. Love the sunshine in your card - perfect for a grey rainy day like today!

Such a bright and happy card Loll, I love it. I need to have a tidy up too and maybe add a shelf or two to make the craft room a bit more organized! See what happens LOL!, Cathy x

How nice to see such a cheerful, summery card Loll - made me smile just looking at it. Our most used word over here in south west UK is "glug"........! we haven't been flooded in our village yet but so many places around are and have roads closed it's making it difficult to get around. Feel so sorry for those affected by these extreme weather fronts.........so thank you for cheering everyone up!

What a lovely, cheery card, Loll! Great take on the muse. (I made a canvas for this challenge then re-read the rules - cards only. Oops!) Hope you'll share some pics of your studio - it might encourage me to tidy mine ready for my new goodies!
