You Make Me Smile

Hi everyone.  The card today is a little different style for me ... I seem to be doing that a lot lately :)  This is a CASE (copy and share everything) of Virginia Lu's beautiful card (below), that is the current challenge at Time Out!  As you can see, I kept very close to Virginia's layout and colors, but changed up the main focal point to a collection of hearts.  I used a piece of burlap to add texture under the hearts, omitting the gathered string on Virginia's card.  With all the lovely layers and embellishments, this is not a CAS card, but more of a layered card.  I am really happy with how it turned out.  And I got to use a bit of designer paper, so I'm happy about that too. :)

Virginia's card

Stamps:  Lil Hoot (Hero Arts)
Paper:  110 lb white (Neenah); I {Heart} Summer (Simple Stories); Real Red (SU!)
Ink:  Bermuda Bay (SU!)
Accessories & Tools:  Big Shot, Small Holiday shapes die (smaller heart) - Simon Says; Heart punch, wood grain embossing folder (Sizzix), Burlap ribbon, small heart rhinestone (Annabelle Stamps), sequins, Stamp-a-ma-jig
