Spring Green

Hi everyone.  I had some fun in my studio yesterday.  I made a card that works for several challenges. :)

The background is partially stamped script in soft green ink, and then texture paste added through a stencil.  I used a new-to-me layered flower die, sponging with two shades of soft green.  I added some pearl paint to the center and sprinkled with glitter.

The texture paste is hard to see in the photo above, but better in the photo below.  The card is finished with a sentiment (Super Day - Penny Black), stamped in more green.

  2. Loll, I adore this wonderful Spring-y shade of green - I made myself a high-waisted peasant style dress of lime gingham when I was in high school - it was exactly this color!
    Such a wonderful card!

  3. Spring, 100%! A stunning mixed media card. I love everything about this card, the background is stenciled and inked, and the paste in the background is amazing. The use of transparent texture paste allows you to see the pattern created by the ink application, beautifully combining both techniques. The flower is beautiful, the openwork elements, and the beautiful spring greenery convey such joyful vibes. I love this card!
