Faux Cyanotype Christmas

Hi everyone.  I made a Faux Cyanotype card using a Christmas image this time.  I just love this technique and you can use it for any occasion.  I followed this video by Understand Blue.

I placed a mask over my card front and lightly sponged the center rectangle in Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink.  I then stamped the Lavinia Christmas Night image several times overtop with the same ink to get lots of contrast.  I added a skinny silver metallic frame and stamped  the sentiment from a long retired stamp set to finish the card.

Sending this card to:

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. What a perfect image for this beautiful cyan technique, Lolly! And the narrow silver frame makes it look like a stained-glass window! Hugs, Dolly
