Another Eclipse card

Hi everyone.  Just a reminder that this month at CAS Mix Up Challenge, the challenge is ...


For the card above, I tried the Optical Illusion variation of this technique.  I followed the video by Natasha Foote on the challenge blog, using two of the same patterned papers to create a card with partially layered strips.  This was quick and easy to create something a little different.

    Your technique is amazing, as it actually used two layers of the same paper! I love the popped up portions that give depth but also the look of a frame on the raised white portion. Great optical illusion!

    I love this! It's sort of a variation on the double vision technique, or vice versa. I keep wanting to call it high-low. Your paper is gorgeous and I really love the effect. I've sure got plenty of papers I could do this with. I need to get cracking on the different eclipse ideas!
