Yupo does react differently than other...Hi Bobbie. Yupo does react differently than other papers. But I also get good results with alcohol inks on acetate. Years ago I used glossy paper and it worked too. Not as good as yupo, though. I've heard photograph paper is also good, but haven't tried it myself. I have tried using shiny photograph paper with alcohol inks and acetate "paper" with alcohol inks. Both seem to take a lot of alcohol blending solution or Gamsol to achieve interesting blends and swirls. Both are quite expensive, and I'm not sure I like them much better than using shaving cream and dye inks.
