I think ALL of these poinsettia cards are frameable works of art, Lolly! They are drop-dead gorgeous! I really enjoyed seeing the differences in each and appreciate the time it took for you to share! (Thanks again for playing in my challenge way back when, ha! I'm still catching up!) Enjoy your week! I almost feel I could have written your post. I bought Mixed Media paper to use with my Zigs although I think it is a lighter weight than yours. I'll be looking for some 400 series. I agree about the red brush. If you find a good individual one, let me know. I find I'd rather use Distress Inks for a lot of my watercoloring as it's friendly to most papers. I do like Bristol board for Zigs but it's not a pure white. I did a card yesterday with Zigs on the white Ranger watercolor paper and it just wouldn't move so I ended up just coloring it. It's both fun and frustrating to experiment isn't it?Bobbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05545534565564730223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5834329094115891966.post-12300491493750216372016-03-10T17:12:25.678-08:002016-03-10T17:12:25.678-08:00Loll! It was quite interesting to see the different effects achieved by the various markers (and I'll confess #1 has to be my fav, but I loved each one). Marvelous coloring and shading, and I use the Canson Mixed Media for lots of different treatments. It's great when I find it on sale too. Great job, and good for you at using some NBUS items.
