Up and Away


Hi everyone.  Today's card is for a couple of challenges at SCS - CAS241 - Alumni Love - honoring Emily (stampingout) ... and SCS Color (447 - Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Chocolate Chip).  I CASED this sweet card by Emily, using the same layout but changing the bee to a hot air balloon.  I added a couple of clouds for fun. :)

This was a simple card to make.  The balloon is paper pieced and the die-cut clouds were sponged around the edges.  Simple sentiment to finish.

I added a little Crystal Effects to the heart on the balloon for some shine ... and I used the thin tip of my Stampin' Write marker to add cross-hatching to the balloon's basket.



Stamps:  Fly Away with Me (C.C. Designs)
Paper:  White, Snap Color Vibe (Simple Stories); Bermuda Bay, Chocolate Chip (SU!)
Ink:  Chocolate Chip, Bermuda Bay (SU!)
Accessories & Tools:  Big Shot, Puffy Cloud Dies (Memory Box), Crystal Effects, glue, adhesives, and dimensionals
