More Foiling Fun

Hi everyone, sharing one more simple way to foil that I shared at my Zoom group meeting on Apr. 14th.  This time I used a piece of double-sided adhesive sheet on foam and then burnished my foil over top.  Adding the foam to the foil gives it added dimension.  I die-cut this sweet leafy sprig (AliExpess).  It not only cut out beautifully, but it also has the embossing on the leaves.  I used the Gold Shattered Glass Decofoil again and you can see how the reflection gives you lots of different colours.  So pretty!!

I used a piece of alcohol ink'd Yupo in the background that I had in my stash.  Not positive of the colours but believe they are my favourite combo of Wild Plum, Sunet Orange, and Sunshine Yellow (Ranger).  Die-cut a frame from white card stock (Spellbinders - retired) and popped the frame over top of my card front, adding the gold foiled leave inside the window aperture.  Stamped a Simple Sentiment (Lawn Fawn) and heat embossed in Princess gold embossing powder.

Jessie had some pampering from Alex ... Mani/Pedi.

Even though she doesn't like having her nails clipped,
she adores Alex and took the opportunity to steal a kiss. :)

Blogger has notified blog owners of a change to their service.  They will no longer be providing the Feedburner email subscription service.  This means for all of you that receive my new posts via email, that subscription will no longer be working as of July.

In the meantime, I will be downloading your email addresses and forwarding them to a new subscription service.  Right now, I'm not sure which service that will be but will have that settled shortly.  Hopefully there won't be any disruption of subscribers receiving my updates.

Thanks for visiting!

Love that you can see the impressions in the leaves too. I have quite a bit of foil that I've never really used, but after seeing this post and your previous one, I can see that I need to get it out and have a play! Thanks for the inspiration!! Hope all is well. Hugs. P.S. Jessie is still ADORABLE!! :0)

  4. This is stunning Loll and by just using the adhesive sheet over foam and then addding the gold foil and burnishing it, I am surprised that it has stuck so well and that you managed to die cut the leaves from it too. The AI background is a beauty too in those beautiful bright colours. Two lovely photos of Alex and little Jessie, and being so good having her nails trimmed, obviously Alex has a special place in her heart. x

Alex and Jessie you can see that they are very friends :-)

I also got a notification that in July I stopped sending posts to subscribers. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to copy my subscribers' mailing list and I'm afraid I won't be able to do that. Aj :-(

  19. Oh, this is perfect. What could be nicer than alcohol ink and foiling, love it. that is very generous of you to go to the trouble of finding a new way to send e-mails. I had decided that I must just keep a better eye on my reading list xx

  20. Wow, the shattered glass foil looks even more amazing with the leaves and your awesome AI background! Such depth with the two of them together! I adore the pic of Jessie having her nails done. She's a good girl! I'm sad about the Feedburner thing, especially because I have no time to fool around with this stuff right now. I'll take a deep breath and it will all come out okay in the end.
