Background Flowers

Hi everyone.  Today I'm playing along with The Flower Challenge #11 (Focus on Background Stamping).

I used a stamp that is a set of four small stamps all together.  It was pretty quick to stamp all over a full size card front.  I used Delicata Gold which is a shimmery pigment ink, heat setting it to help speed up the drying time.  I used an orange Zig to add just a little colour to the flowers.  Then I split my panel to create two cards with the one card front.  I used the same ink direct to paper and cut two thin strips to add to the cards. Happy with how they turned out.

Here they are separately ...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

Stamps:  Flower (AliExpress); Thoughtful Messages (Simon Says Stamp)
Paper:  White (Neenah 110 lb. card stock)
Ink:  Delicata Gold (Tsukineko); Zig (orange)

Your Delicata Gold shimmery pigment ink is so pretty on both your cards. Perfect with your orange Zigs. I still have not tried the split panel technique. So wonderful how you created 2 beautiful cards out of one beautiful stamped background. TFS Loll. Hugs..

I've been having fun with cutting to get 2 cards lately. I even have this same stamp. Hope my version will turn out at least nearly as beautiful as yours. I shall think wonderful thoughts of you while I play.

Beautifully coordinated cards, Loll. I like how the direct to paper strips pull bring the pattern and white space together.

I love a beautiful panel created by stamping. You do not need to buy expensive papers, you can create such miracles yourself. Big projects. This is an amazing set of cards.
