Turns out I have about six or so that I haven't used yet. It's not one of my go-to products, but I need to change that because they add so much lovely dimension and interest to cards.

Accessories: Floral Field Embossing Folder (Simon Says Stamp), Floral Stem Collage (Poppy Stamps), details sponge brushes (AliExpress)
The folder I used today for my background is called Floral Field (Simon Says Stamp) and I've had it for a couple of years but never used it before. I embossed a piece of white card stock and then used some detail brushes to sponge over top, concentrating on the center of the daisies. Distress Inks were used for adding colour ... first, Mustard Seed, and then for the centers, Ripe Persimmon. I die-cut Floral Stem Collage (Poppy Stamps) to place over top. To finish, a simple hello sentiment (Happy Messages - Stampendous) is stamped in black ink. The die-cut flower and frame are popped up over the daisy background for added dimension.

What a happy card this is, Lolly! Especially when the days are dreary as we head into spring. I love the idea of blending the centers of the e/f flowers. Ohhh, this is really eye catching, Loll! Yellow and white are a favorite combo. My photo editing program does horrible things with yellow and I have to figure how to conquer that. Your die and EF are a beautiful pair. I would love to see the rest of your NBUS folders! I have a shameful lot I haven't used yet, too.

Thank you for following along with my blog and thank you for the lovely comment. So nice to hear you are able to start card making again!! As for AliExpress, it is similar to Amazon. You can buy directly from AliExpress using any of their vendors. Your transaction goes through them and they are responsible for your personal information. I have not had a problem buying from them. I don't buy directly from any of their vendors.
As for your second question about making your name something less personal. You show as Anonymous when you leave a comment. I don't think there's anything less personal than that. But if you want to change Anonymous, in gmail, click on the nine dots at the top right, choose "Account", there is a drop down menu on the left, choose "Personal Info". Scroll down until you see your name and click on the pencil icon to edit. Once you've changed your name and exit --- it is automatically saved. Hope that helps. Loll

With yellow being my favorite color, how could I not fall in LOVE with this bright and sunny card Loll?!! I just went to check and I have that embossing folder too and don't think I have ever used mine either...oh brother! Sometimes I think I like shopping for new supplies more than I like creating! This is so pretty and a great inspiration as I have that embossing folder too. They are coming into their own and so easy to use. I like the texture they add to card panels.
