Fall Maple

Hi everyone.  Time for a new challenge at ATCAS ... this one is chosen by our wonderfully talented leader, Kylie (Kylie is Addicted to Stamps).

She has chosen this code word ...

ATCAS also welcomes a new Guest Designer for October ... welcome to the very talented and creative Hannelie (Desert Diva)!  I hope you'll take some time to check out Hannelie's amazing blog which is packed full of unique and inspiring cards ... you'll be glad you did! :)

A while back I inked up some copper metal sheets with a mix of yellow, red and green alcohol inks.  I made up a couple of large pieces while I had the mess out and used one of those today to cut this large maple leaf.  I sponged mesh stenciling on the background and finished it off with a small sentiment to try to balance the large leaf.

I hope you'll join us for the ATCAS #49 - Stencil challenge.  Come check out the challenge and see Hannelie's beautiful stencil card, along with the other amazing cards from the rest of the Design Team.  As always, the challenge is open for two weeks, so there's lots of time to play along.  Hope to see you in the gallery!!

I'm entering this into Virginia's View Challenge #8 - Clean and Simple.  I love making CAS cards and was so excited to see this challenge! :)

I see that my colours are perfect for the Autumn's Bounty colour challenge at Less is More #192 ... so I'm entering :)

Stamps:  A Little Sentimental (Clearly Besotted)
Paper:  White (Neenah)
