Vintage Bells

Hi everyone.   Here's another vintage Christmas card.  This time I heat embossed the bells in black onto white cardstock, sponged the bells brown and then coated them with Twinkling H2O's that were gifted to me by my friend Susan.  Thanks Susan!!  First time using them ... I used the colour called Scarab Beetle (interesting name!) ... it's bronze with a slight greenish tone.  I love how the bells turned out ... an antique bronze colour.  I used Copics to color the ribbon.

I found this vintage-y designer paper with musical notes and script writing and used it for the background, just adding a little sponging around the edges to give it even more of an aged look, and tearing the edge.  A simple sentiment stamped at the bottom finishes the card.

Just a reminder that the Mixed Media Card Challenge (#4 - Vintage with optional element: key) is open until Oct. 25, so still lots of time to play.  Come join in the fun! :)

I'm entering this into the STAMPlorations October Challenge - Stamps and Embossing.

This is lovely and vintage, but elegant too Loll, and like the old music layer behind those wonderfully coloured bells. That splash of red with the ribbon and berries works beautifully. x

Love your Vintage Style Loll, but how you have still kept your card CAS. Your tearing, sponging and darker colors really add to your Vintage look. TFS my friend.
