Day One - Twelve Tags of Christmas


Hi everyone.  I'm so happy to be back with the third annual Twelve Tags of Christmas event. :)  Welcome!

Over the next twelve days, I'll be sharing one Mixed Media Christmas tag each day that I've made, plus tags from my wonderful Guest Designers.  Twelve of my dear friends will be joining me.  We hope to inspire you to play along.

Add your Mixed Media* Christmas Tag to the linky below.  Any style and any size of tag is welcome.   The linky will be open until November 25 (one full week after Day Twelve of this event).

* For this event you must include stamping on your tag, plus two mixed media elements.


Loll
Technique:  Floating Alcohol Ink background, Heat Embossing
Products:  Alcohol Inks:  Botanical, Ultra Marine, Mermaid (Ranger).  Tree Line die (Impression Obsession).  Believe stamp set (Penny Black), heat embossed in white.  Crinkle ribbon dyed with Distress Inks:  Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn (Tim Holtz)

Gorgeous floating alcohol ink sky Loll for your tree snowscape. TFS and especially for hosting your awesome 12 tags of Christmas for the 3rd year. It always inspires me to get my tags made up ahead of time :-)

Bonnie's shaving cream background and gorgeous heat embossed tree tag is gorgeous too. Wow..Bonnie got 3 tags in one without it looking cluttered :-) Hugs, Nancy

Oh Loll! Beautiful tag! I love the beautiful ink alcohol background is unusual. I love the winter scenery looks beautiful. I am glad that we can meet again with you on this great party. I hope that I can construct a tag :-)

So happy your annual tag event has started - LOVE seeing the creativity! Both your tag and Bonnie's are so pretty. I like how both examples demonstrate that mixed media doesn't have to be out of the reach of stampers of any level. Thanks for the inspiration ladies!

A great first day with you and Bonnie showing your gorgeous tags. I love your pretty IO Tree Line die and the beautiful DI sky with the glittery snow, and Bonnie's beautiful tree with the marbled background and the plain green goes perfectly as a dividing layer. x
