Good Neighbours

I love this sweet flower garden image from Penny Black.  I had to buy it after seeing it coloured to perfection by Hannelie (click here to see her card).

I stamped in Archival Black ink and then watercoloured with my zigs.  I really enjoy this type of watercolouring. :)

I added a sentiment banner at the bottom, stamped in green to match the leaves on the image.

Here's a close-up ...
I made this card to play along with Penny Black Saturday Challenge where Anything Goes.

Come join in the fun.  Remember to use a Penny Black product as your main focal point of your card.

Stamps:  good neighbors (Penny Black); Sentiment - eloquence (Penny Black)
Paper:  Mixed Media paper (Strathmore 140 lb.)
Ink:  Black Archival (Ranger); Zigs
Accessories & Tools:  water brush, clear wink of stella

Oh Loll...had to laugh when I saw your comment about having to have this stamp set after seeing Hannelie's card, as it has been sitting in my cart for a few weeks now while I make up my mind about whether I NEED it or not after seeing Hannelie's beautiful card! Yours turned out just as lovely using the Zigs...so bright and colorful and just delightful! Love it!! :0)

Just can't beat a combination of a lovely PB image and your wonderful watercoloring skills. This pretty looks very spring like and has such an 'airy' feel with the bright colors and all the white space. TFS

Your zig watercolouring is so beautiful, Loll! Your garden looks cheerful, bright, airy and springy! I love the bottom sentiment banner too. The edge-to-edge banner is a fresh idea and the matching green sentiment color is nice! Hideko xx

I was just looking at this stamp this morning, Loll, and trying to decide whether to get it or not. It isn't on Amazon Prime so I let it go. You've made it look so cute with your Zigs.
