Twofer and Puppy Videos

Hi everyone.  Playing along with Twofer Card Challenge #23 - Hearts.  Twofer is also celebrating it's 2nd Blogaversary and there's lots of prizes to be won.  Congrats to Darnell and my wonderful teammates for two years of amazing challenges!

I used a stencil to create my two heart cards above.  The first card I used magicals through the open hearts.  Love the shimmer in real life.  I then did a light pink wash for the background and added a die-cut sentiment - Love.  The main panel is popped up.

For the second card.  I again used magicals to create a colourful background.  I used the stencil to outline three hearts (different sizes) using a black marker.  I fussy-cut the hearts and added them to the card front, popping up the top (smallest) heart balloon.  I stamped and watercoloured the sweet bear and also fussy-cut, popping it up and drew in the strings of the balloons to wrap around the wrist.  A sentiment was stamped in black to create a fun birthday card.

There's still lots of time to play along.  Challenge closes midnight Jan. 24 (PST).  We'd love to see your cards in the gallery!

OMG the videos are hilarious, Violeta is a good catch with the snow balls and I bet Jessie slept for hours after that :)
Beautiful cards Loll, I especially love the little bear with the heart balloons :)

Love the videos - I'm amazed at Jessie's energy, keeping up with Violeta! Especially love the ones where they are trying to catch snowballs.

Great cards too - especially the second one with the beautiful blue/mauve hearts and the adorable bear.

Loll, Two fab designs for your cards and such a smart way to use a stencil twice. Love the color flow the magicals gave on your hearts. The bear is sweetly colored and looks darling holding his balloon hearts. The videos are such fun watching the dogs romp. Thanks for playing along at Twofer Card Challenge #23.

Looks like she loves the snow but is a bit confused over the 'white' balls! :)

Aah how cute, and Violeta is an excellent catcher of snowballs, but Jessie was beginning to get the hang of it too, TFS Loll. Your Twofers are excellent too, and love the Magicals on the first, and then your sweet teddy holding the pretty balloons...all beautifully coloured. x

I so enjoyed watching the videos Loll. Both Violeta and Jessie are having so much fun. Violeta is a star at catching....and eating the snow balls. Jessie made me chuckle when she was clearly trying to find the snow balls in the deep snow. Super cute and absolutely adorable and thank you for sharing x.

Wow to your first mixed media card Loll. Great use of the stencil and the magicals and fabulous how the background did not merge with the hearts...you are so creative x. Adorable Birthday card, great colours on the fussy cut heart balloons and the teddy is super cute. Both cards are fabulous Loll x.

Loll, I love your 'Love' card! I don't know how you got such clean edged with your stencils and magicals, but it turned out just fabulously! Gorgeous colors, too. That sentiment is such a perfect size for this card, too. This is worthy of a frame! Your sweet little bear card is adorable! You must be the queen of fussy cutting, as I don't know if I'd have ever been able to cut all those bitty parts nearly as well as you did! And her balloons are beautifully and magically fantastic! Perfect colors; they just pop! Love these!!! xo Bev

Super cute cards made from beautiful backgrounds, Loll! I LOVED your puppy videos, too! That's just what dogs should be doing -- playing and loving life. So fun!

Wonderful twofer, Loll! I love the dramatic pink on pink on your Love card, and I know it shines IRL! Your heart balloons are equally as vibrant and so sweet for the bear to be holding them. It's a clever way to use a stencil too!

Wonderful, delightful cards, Loll! I admire your willingness to fussy cut fuzzy critters! Beautifully done too. Love the Valentine card too- something I better think about soon. Thanks too for the fun puppy videos.

Love your twofer's Loll! The first one with the heart background is so pretty and artsy. Those hearts really pop off your background nicely, and speaking of backgrounds, I love how you did it for this card. Your second card is just as cute as can be. I love that little teddy bear with his beautiful heart balloons. Who wouldn't love getting this cute little birthday card?! But what I loved the most was seeing Violeta and Jessie playing in the snow! Our "kids" love the snow too and go crazy out in it. You have to laugh at them racing around and having a good time. You just want to scoop them up and give them lovin's! lol Hugs, Brenda

Great minds, Lolly! I just noticed that we both used Magicals, me through a die and you through a stencil! I love the pink wash you added for the background and the perfect flowing love in black to make it stand out on your Valentine. And your wee bear with her balloon bouquet is adorable! The colors are gorgeous and really pop because you gave her a soft gray fur. Love the matching flower in her hair! Thank you so much for playing! And thank you for sharing the videos of Jessie and Violeta in the snow! Your yard is huge and perfect for zooming around. It's nice they both don't mind the snow because it looks like you got quite a lot. It was fun seeing how athletic Violeta is and how much she LOVES eating snow! (I couldn't help but wonder what she thinks in the spring when it's a tennis ball and it doesn't melt in her mouth, lol!) Hugs, Dolly

Love the artsy hearts parade with the tones of red and pick along with the large black script LOVE die cut. The bear card is so cute too, she looks so fluffy and soft with this incredible watercoloring along with the match bow and hearts. xx
