Penny Black - Unforgettable

Hi everyone.  Today I'm back with another amazing image from the new Secret Garden release from Penny Black.  The stamp I used below is Unforgettable (40-734).

I started with a background from my stash.  It's a very subtle smooshing of magicals ... mainly you see bits of blue, purple, and pink.  Stamped my image over top and heat embossed in white.  Watercoloured the blooms and leaves with distress inks and then added a shadow of gray around the outside of the image to add some depth.  The hard part was figuring out how to add my sentiment without covering up the pretty flowers. :)  I decided to add a black banner sentiment (Happy Snippets 30-358) with white heat embossed sentiment at the bottom.

Close-up ...
I'm entering my card into a few challenges:

The Flower Challenge #43 - Spring / Autumn

Craft Stamper Magazine Take It Make It April Challenge.

This is stunning Loll, and the Magicals background suits it perfectly with just enough colour without overpowering those gorgeous watercoloured flowers, and the white on black sentiment strip is just right. x

In contrast to Gord’s masculine birthday card, this is so pretty and feminine. Great use of the smooshed Magicals background from your stash... therefore you could enter it in the Snippets Playground. 😉

Wow, you say this is another "amazing image", and then I say this is another AMAZING card, Loll!
The subtle smooshing of magicals and the shadow of gray create an ethereal background for the gorgeous bouquet. Lavender is my favorite color and I've been admiring this card.💕
