August Rudolph Days

Hi everyone.  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the August Rudolph Days challenge.  I love this little mouse running with this huge stack of presents.  You gotta love it! :)

I watercoloured with distress inks onto mixed media paper.  I added some shading in all the nooks and crannies of the image (a la Kathy Racoosin), and blended them out.  It added depth and dimension.  I finished off with a fun sentiment stamped in red.

Shading with watercolor is not easy but what a fabulous job you did with this. I can't get over that you used Memento to stamp and it didn't bleed terribly. That image is just adorable too!

Hi Loll,
Happy Rudolf Days.
What a fantastic water coloured stamped image your colouring is brilliant.
My that poor mouse must be so exhausted after carrying all those presents and such.lol.
We all do similar at Christmas with our shopping trips.
I expect it may be a little different this year.
I hope all is well in your part of the country.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
