CAS Christmas November Challenge

Hi everyone.  Today is the start of the last CAS Christmas challenge for 2021.  Thanks to all that have participated this year.  It's been so fun seeing all the amazing cards in the galleries.

The last challenge is hosted by the very talented Barb (Barb's Studio Creations).  She would like to see your CAS Christmas cards with critters!  Oh what fun! :)

I used a Penny Black image called Scarved Sweeties (30-758) ... and they are just that.  These adorable bears are out in the snow having fun.  I stamped them in black ink and heat embossed in clear before watercolouring with distress inks.  I used a white Posca pen to add a few highlights as well as dots to the scarf and hat of one of the bears, and snow along the top of the fence.

The image is framed in a circle with a sentiment (Festive Snippets 30-387) stamped in red ink.

Close-up ...
We are excited to have Valerie (Le Scrap de Vava) as our Guest Designer this month.  Welcome Valerie!

Please check out the challenge blog to see the fun cards from our Designers as well as our special Guest Designer, Valerie.

I used red, green, and blue from the inspiration photo.

I love these cute bears - they are so sweet! I guess they live in that house behind them and are eagerly awaiting a visit from Santa. He always gives them a special treat of honey. Two nice big jars!!

These two bears are adorable Loll, and I love the way you have watercoloured them and the background trees and sweet little house, and also the wooden fence which they are leaning on, and looks great within the circular aperture, and the bright red sentiment finishes it perfectly...a gorgeous card. x

What a lovely cute image, it really brings out the cold wintry feel of snow. I think it might be the rosey cheeks. Love it xx

Oh what sweet coloring on the rosy faces of your winter bears Loll - so cute with them looking over the fence at us with their snug home in the background - or maybe they live in the pine trees?!! xx
