More Double Stamped Vellum for Christmas

Hi everyone.  Another card using the fun Double Stamping Technique that I used on this card.  This time I used a NBUS stamp set that I've had for AGES.  Happy to finally be inking it up! :)

I used a piece of vellum stamped with images from Branches - retired (Inkadinkado).  The ones stamped on the front are the berry branches, stamped with white pigment ink and heat embossed in white.  Flipped over the vellum and stamped more berry branches (in Real Red ink - SU!) and Evergreen branch (in Mowed Lawn Distress Ink) on the back.  I finished my piece by adding a splattering of white diluted acrylic paint for falling snow.  The sentiment (Christmas sentiments - Gina Marie Designs) is stamped with more Mowed Lawn ink.

Close-up ...
I'm sending this card over to NBUS (never-before-used-schtuff) Challenge #43. :)  This challenge is so great ... it encourages me to make use of those stamps, dies and stencils that have been waiting to be used. :)  Thanks Dolly!!

This card is also heading over to the Rudolph Days October Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, that NBUS... I keep trying to get to the bottom of it. This looks like a beautiful set with such realistic and delicate branches. Love the oval window. Such an easy technique with gorgeous results. My list of techniques to try is getting longer every day!

That vellum technique is so cool and yet I still haven't tried it. There just always seems to be something else to do! Love those colours and the oval focal point xx

I love this card: the double stamping on vellum with that gorgeous berry branch, and the design of the card itself---so lovely! Definitely a technique I need to try.

Thank you for the shoutout, Lolly, and for playing again at NBUS! This is such a great example of the vellum technique (love the colors!) and reminds me that I still haven't tried it. (So much fun, so little time, lol!) I'll keep this in my inbox and perhaps that will do the trick. Love, Dolly

That is so, so pretty I really must try this technique soon. The challenge really is a good way of making sure our NBUS mountain gets reduced, or not (lol). Thank you for sharing at NBUS.
