I'm starting with this new-to-me image of a sweet bear with a bouquet of holly (Love & Magic - Penny Black). I stamped him in black ink and heat embossed with clear on mixed media paper before watercolouring using distress inks. I fussy-cut him, added gloss to the holly; once dry, I splattered diluted white acrylic paint for falling snow. He is then popped up overtop of the background panel, which is dry embossed with Allover Stitches EF (Penny Black) ... first time using this embossing folder. :) I stamped the sentiment banner (Shine Upon You - Penny Black), adhering at the bottom of the panel before adding it to my card front.
I hope you like this quick and easy CAS design.

Awwww, this bear is so adorable, Loll! Naturally, you've colored him to perfection, and I love the stitches embossing. Absolute sweetness!
Your card is so sweet, my dear Loll. I love the whole thing. Your coloring is masterful! I was drawn to the way you colored the white fur on the hat and the white pom-pom. Brilliant technique! And I love the embossed background, perfect for this sweet Christmas bear.

This sweet guy always brings a smile, and your sweet card does too!
These bear images are always so cute and you've brought him to life, Lolly! What I love is his little ear sticking out of the Santa hat! It's such a sweet little detail by the stamp artist and I love the holly bouquet, too, and how you schplattered him with snow. You've added perfect interest with your textured e/f background! Thank you for using this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar and linking in the gallery to motivate others and for joining again at NBUS! Love, Dolly
