This time I stamped the Posted (Penny Black) image directly onto my card front in soft gray ink. I used a small piece of mixed media card to stamp the poinsettia image in black ink, heat embossing in clear. I sized the panel to fit inside of the posted stamp, sponging the lower portion before watercolour the image with distress inks. I popped the panel up onto my card front for some dimension. The sentiment is on the inside.

Oh, I love the effect of stamping the postage frame and then adding the image panel. Beautiful coloring and soft sponging. Altogether just lovely, Loll!
This is gorgeous Loll with the beautiful bright red poinsettias and holly and berries, and I love the green you have added behind them, and the stamped outer grey postage stamp outline and postmarkings added over the background and the coloured topper work brilliantly, and popping up the central portion gives it great dimension too. x

A beautiful card with a postage stamp. I love the colors in the center of the card. I think adding a green background for this bouquet was a great move. It makes the bouquet feel integrated with the entire center of the panel.
