3-D Christmas Bauble

Hi everyone.  Today is the second challenge from Addicted to CAS challenge blog.  Each challenge will have a code word to inspire your creations.

Marie is in charge of this challenge and here it is:

Don't you just love this word??!!  Thanks for an awesome challenge, Marie!

$20 GIFT VOUCHER
will be awarded to the CAS PERFECTIONIST
(please follow the rules of the challenge to be eligible to win)

I was inspired by a recent card by Kylie (our DT leader).  She made a 3-D ornament card following a tutorial by Mynnette of "Technique Tuesdays".  I just loved it ... so made my own version for the ATCAS challenge.

Stamps:  Handy Christmas Greetings (Amy R)
Paper:  White (C.C. Designs); Be of Good Cheer and Gumball Green (SU!)
Ink:  Gumball Green (SU!)
Accessories & Tools:  ornament punch, pine branch punch (McGill), Maraschino twine (The Twinery), Stamp-a-ma-jig, sticky strips, and dimensionals

I used five punches of the ornament, folded in half and attached to each other as per the tutorial above, using the "Be of Good Cheer" DP from SU! ... my favorite SU! Christmas papers!  I added three pine branches and a twine hanger and bow to complete the ornament.  The main panel was popped up on the card base to give more depth.

Here's a close-up of the ornament:

I'm planning on making a few more of these cards before Christmas ... so fun!!

I hope you'll join in on the fun challenge at Addicted to CAS.  Come and check out the wonderful samples from the other Design Team members.

Well Loll, I just love your card and it's a case of two minds thinking alike for this challenge!!!! Love the pine branch but couldn't get this punch anywhere so have gone for the Martha Stewart one which looks very similar.

LOVE the 3D bauble (that's a great word lol) and especially how you embellished it to simple perfection with the punched sprigs and bakers twine.
