Warmth of Friendship

Hi everyone.  It's time for the next Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge --- Make you Mark #5 - use any type of markers on your card or project.

Prize:  Choice of 5 Digital Stamps
(please follow the rules of the challenge to be eligible to win)

I used two stamps from All That Scraps to create a CAS winter scene for my design team card.  Cocoa Trevor is colored with copic markers, with just his mitts and hat paper-pieced.  Stampin' Write markers were used to color the bench.  To add some fun to his hat, I made pompoms or tassels ... they are sort of a mix between the two :)   Hope you like.

Stamps:  Cocoa Trevor (C.C. Designs); Snowman Sayings (Amy R)
Paper:  White (C.C. Designs); Whisper White, Pacific Point Polka-dot DP (SU!)
Ink:  Basic Black, Staz-on Black, Pacific Point ; Soft Suede Stampin' Write marker (SU!); Copic Markers: E000, E00, E01, E44, E77, YG95, YG99, B16, B06, Y21, W4, 0 (colorless blender)
Accessories & Tools:  Martha Stewart Sparkle Texture Effect, Peapod and Denim twines (The Twinery), blender pen, glue, and dimensionals

I stamped the bench in Staz-on onto Whisper White twice.  I used my blender pen and Soft Suede SWM to color in the bench posts (on one of the stampings), and the bench slats (on the second stamping).  I cut out the posts and slats separately and then glued them back together to form the bench.  I added MS Sparkle Texture to the top of the bench and the seat and popped it up on my card front with dimensionals.

To create the pompoms, I wound both green and blue twine together around 3/8" piece of cardstock, pulled a separate piece of twine through and tied a knot.

Here's a close-up view of Cocoa Trevor:

I hope I have inspired you to join us for this fun challenge.  Check out the other fabulous creations by the Design Team at ATS&M!
