Peaceful Winter Scene

Hi everyone.  Time for a reminder for the CAS Christmas February Challenge.  This month, Colleen is hosting and she has picked a wonderful challenge for us!

I die-cut the forest scene from a white card front and adhered a piece of mixed media with brushos in-behind.  The brushos piece was in my stash, which made this card even faster to make! :)  Adhered the card front with scene onto a base and stamped a simple sentiment in blue.

Here's a close-up ...
I hope you'll check out the challenge blog to see the new reminder cards from our wonderful Designers and talenged Guest Designer, Linda.  I know you'll be inspired to play along!

See you in the gallery!

Just a quick pic of my grand-doggie, Violeta.  She came by for a visit yesterday.  Isn't she sweet??!! :)

Love your card ..... that die looks beautiful. It's always nice to get stunning results like this with very little effort. I love going to my bit box in search of backgrounds, you never know what you're going to find! xx

Lovely card for the reminder but Violeta steals the show on this post. I just want to cuddle her. She is so sweet with her toy and looks so protective of it.

Lovely, lovely card Loll!! I kept looking at your scene and wondering why it looked so familiar...it's because I have the stencil of that same die cut you used! But anyway, your background with the Brusho's was perfect to use with this beautiful die cut scene...GORGEOUS card! And Violetta is ADORABLE!! :0)

So gorgeous especially in this brilliant blue colour, Loll. Awesome die. I thought it was a SSS die, but I was mistaken. xx

This is a MOST beautiful and peaceful card, Loll! I wish I'd made it, but first I'd have to have that amazing die and your talent for backgrounds. Violeta is an absolute sweetheart! Ohhhh, I'm melting! Whenever a dog comes into my field of vision I just forget about everything else. Love her at first sight!

I have this die and made a few cards with him, but your card is the winner. I love the peace that this card brings. A beautiful background greatly brings out the shapes of winter scenes. You have an amazing ability to create cards with a great atmosphere.
