Timeless - new release from Penny Black

Hi everyone.  Back again today with some more sweet new images from Penny Black's new release - Timeless.

My first card I'm sharing uses watercolouring with Zig Clean Clear Markers.  I stamped the sweet image (30-543 flower teddy) in permanent black ink and set the ink with my heat tool before colouring.  I used zigs and a water brush to watercolour and then fussy-cut the image.  I popped the teddy over top of a paper towel transfer background I had in my stash.  I made this with transferring ink from a mop-up paper towel onto a card front.

Isn't this little guy the cutest??!!

Here's a close-up ...
For the second card, this is a pretty, CAS card that was fun and easy to make.  I used one of the silhouette images from 30-563 floral silhouette.  I lightly stamped the flower head randomly over the background of my main panel.  Then inked the whole image again, spritzed with a little water, and stamped over top.  I cut the image with the 51-517 square frames die.  Inlaid my coloured panel to the frame and then added a second die-cut white frame over top.  A simple stamped sentiment, 30-560 from the garden, stamped in matching blue, finishes the card.
... and a closer look ...
I hope you've enjoyed the cards from today.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

Oh that little Teddy Bear is adorable! You've created such a sweet card, Loll. I love that 'paper towel' background; the texture it gives is fabulous! Pretty in green too. And your second card is simply stunning. Those blues are so pretty, and I'm pretty sure that that frame is going to have to go in one of my carts really, really soon, lol!! Two just wonderful cards, my friend. Have a great weekend. xo Bev

The little bear is so adorable and the soft mop-up paper towel background is perfect for the image, Loll! Love the way you inked up the background/how you left the white space. The lightly stamped flowers on the background of the second card are so pretty and delicate. The frame die is super cool. I may find it in my shopping cart someday. ;-)

OMGosh! Your cards are so beautiful Loll! I love that little teddy bear and you have watercolored him to perfection! I need lessons on watercoloring with my Zigs to achieve this look! I love the paper towel background, it gives texture and beauty. Your second card is elegant! I love the flower, reminds me of Queen's Ann Lace, which I love. That frame is just beautiful too, I'm in love with it! Hugs, Brenda

When I saw this card on the PB blog, without delving into the content, I knew it was your work, Loll. You rarely use characters to confide, but the background is characteristic of you. I love this technique and this card. I am glad that you have introduced new elements to your cards.
The second card in your beautiful elegant style.
Hugs,
BożenA
