CAS Christmas June Challenge

Hi everyone.  It's the start of the CAS Christmas June Challenge.  We are already half way through the year for making Christmas cards!  Wow!  I hope you've been building your stash along with us.  Will make for a calm November when it's time to write up the cards and mail out. :)

Today's challenge is another fun one!!  Everyone love gifts! :)  The challenge is hosted by our wonderfully talented, Linda (Lin's Craft Corner)! .

I had so much fun watercolouring the adorable image above.  I smiled the whole time! :)

Inked up the image with Versafine Black ink then used my heat tool to make sure it was completely dry before watercolouring with my zigs.  Zigs are such bright colours, I thought they would be best to colour this image.  Using the colours of the rainbow made it even more special. :)  I stamped a fun sentiment in black to match, and added 1 1/2" strip of chevron green patterned paper on the side.

Here's a close-up ...
We are excited to have Leslie (Running with Scissors) as our Guest Designer this month.  Please check out the challenge blog to see Leslie's CAS Christmas Gifts card, along with the amazing cards from our Designers.  I know you'll be inspired.

Come play along!  I'd love to see you in the gallery!
