Penny Black - Cozy Winter

Hi everyone.  I'm working on Penny Black's most recent release - Winter Wishes.
It is a mix of wonderful images that can be used for making Christmas cards or Winter cards.

Both cards today are from the stamp set Cozy Winter (30-763).

I stamped my card image in black ink and heat embossed with clear before watercolouring with distress inks.  Finishing touches include splattering with white acrylic paint, adding frame Simple Stackers (51-613), and stamped sentiment, Snowflake Season (30-779).

Next card is an adorable winter forest scene with some fun critters decorating a tree ...
Started the same way as the first card, stamped in black, clear embossed and watercoloured.  I used my waterbrush and some very diluted Broken China ink to create the snow hills and sky.  Sentiment, Christmas Sentiments (30-504) was stamped in black and clear heat embossed to match the image.

Thanks for stopping by!

More wonderful PB cards! Love the cozy little cabin and the great die you used to frame it. The critters with all their gifts in the snow is adorable - great watercolouring on it.

You already know I'm a huge fan of your water coloring. Both images are so well done. What fun you are having with the new releases. I love the framing on the cottage and the images of the hedgies in the snow is just too cute.

Beautiful Winter snow scene for your 1st card, Lolly. I love your watercoloring and added falling snow and wonderful die cut frame.

Your 2nd card is so adorable. Love your critters decorating the tree with all the decorations in little snow hills waiting to be used on the tree. Your very diluted wash for the sky and snow hills is magical:-)

TFS both your Winter/Christmas cards, my friend. Love and Hugs...Nancy

This cabin would be the place to be in all that snow. I love the warm lights inside. Seeing the critters decorating their own tree made me smile. Wouldn't it be fun if they could!

Two fabulous cards, Loll! Both are colored so beautifully with wonderful shading!
That stacker frame is my favorite frame die for this year. The little critters look like they’re enjoying treasure hunting. What a sweet scene!
