The Flower Challenge #59

Hi everyone.  It's the start of The Flower Challenge #59.  We are thrilled to have Therese (Lost in Paper) as our Guest Designer this month.

Here's the challenge ...

I opted for "Use a Die".  This was an easy and fun card to make.  I do love making CAS cards. :)

I adore this  Heart of Flowers die from Simon Says Stamp.  I die-cut my card front and also a piece from my stash, (DOX inks smooshed on photo paper).  I inlaid the smooshed pieces into the card front.  To finish, the sentiment (Simple Sentiments - Lawn Fawn)  was white heat embossed onto a metallic copper banner.

I hope you'll take some time to check out the challenge blog to see the beautiful flower cards from our amazing Designers, as well as our wonderful Guest Designer, Therese.  Hope to see you in the gallery!

This is so impressive with the inlaid inks. The shine from the sentiment strip is so pretty and that is a fun die.

What a cute die for the Flower Challenge! Kind of retro looking. Your copper metallic sentiment goes so well with the AI colors. Very pretty!

Beautiful colors, Loll. The card is great. I have this die and just recently used it for a friend who just had their 50th wedding anniversary. I gold embossed it. It's a fun die. [Bunny]

Gorgeous heart bloom, Loll! The ink color combo is your favorite, isn't it? The inlaid flowers beautifully pop against white background. The shiny metallic copper sentiment strip matches the shiny surface of photo paper too.
