Chirping

Hi everyone.   I'm back with a watercoloured card using a new stamp (Chirping - Penny Black).

I stamped the image onto Tan Mixed Media Paper in Ranger Archival ink Coffee.  I used Distress Inks: Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wildnerness, Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Ground Espresso, Rusty Hinge, and Black Soot to watercolour the image.  I stamped a simple sentiment (Banner Sentiments - Penny Black) in more of the Coffee Archival Ink.

Close-up ...
I'm sending this card to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Optional:  Masculine. :)
And I'm also entering into NBUS Challenge #51 (never-before-used-schtuff).  I just bought this and I'm so happy I used it right away --- that doesn't happen often. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

It's beautiful, what a great idea to use that tan coloured card. It works so well. We have a robin that keeps guard in out garden. He always comes to inspect what is going on xx

What a lovely image! Your colouring is perfect! I'm heading off to the airport in an hour - please forgive me if I don't comment on your cards while I'm away. I'm going to take as much of a computer break as I can while in England!

This is beautifully watercoloured with some great colours Loll, and I love the tan mixed media paper which is the perfect colour...just that bit paler than kraft card so doesn't change the look of the colours. x
