I used an older piece of patterned paper (Sweather Weather - Stampin' Up!). Stenciled using the Dreamweaver - Hibiscus Pair stencil, using distress inks.
I finished the card by tracing an outline through the stencil with a fine-tip black marker and adding a simple sentiment.

You've used a really pretty patterned paper for the background and your inking has covered the quite bold pattern brilliantly Loll, and the yellow, orange and pink on the hibiscus flowers complements the background and the quite yellow green is perfect too. The black marker to outline the flowers and leaves looks great and really makes the flowers pop. A beautiful card! x

The stencilling over the patterned paper turned out beautifully. The hibiscus is gorgeous.
Gosh, I can hardly see the patterned paper underneath the stenciling except just enough to add interest to the design. A bit more around the edges where the ink is lighter. Really pretty, Loll!

This is gorgeous Loll. I love the colours, and the flowers look fab on the patterned paper. Outlining them in the black really makes them pop!
