I really enjoy the Stampendous stamps and have a lot of them in my stash. For the card above, I outlined the flowers using a Festive Berries distress ink marker and then stamped onto a piece of mixed media paper. Repeated using Mowed Lawn marker for the leaves and stems. I left the stamp and my card front in the Misti. I then used a water brush to add more colour to the images.
Once I was happy, I repeated the first steps above, using the markers to re-stamp the outline. I love this fun and easy technique for watercolouring. I added a simple sentiment and some sequins for a bit of sparkle.

This card is GORGEOUS Loll! I love the way you outlined the image before water coloring...such a pretty technique!! And I always thought it was a cat thing about laying on the back of the couch, but our dog Daisy loves to do that too! Haha!! :0)

Truly amazing water coloring as always! The carnations look so real. I smile as you describe the technique as "fun and easy", 'cause I sure do struggle with water coloring in general, but following the steps you (and Bonnie) lay out is a huge help. I am thankful to both of you for doing that. Jessie sure does have my vote on how to spend an afternoon(!!)
