Hi everyone.  I recently bought this really fun die.  This just makes me happy! :)  There are lots of bits and pieces (a lot of the die sets these days are like this).  So it takes a while to figure it all out the first time you use it.  I was really happy with how mine turned out. That was until the last step of splattering white paint.  You know how it goes sometimes. :)
The dies were cut out twice, once from white card stock (for the faces and hands), and once from mixed media paper (all the other pieces).  Watercoloured the snowmen accessories with Distress inks, and outlined all the pieces in black (used the side of a black brush tip SU! marker for the edges of the dies, a fine (.05 tip) black pen for the details ... faces, trim on toque & hat, birds.  Adding the outline of black makes it seem as if I used a stamp ... I didn't. :)  Added red chalk for the cheeks.
Also cut out a wooden frame from The Greetery (Curio Cover die), swiped one of the longer pieces with Memento Toffee Crunch (direct from stamp).  The sentiment was stamped in Blueprint Sketch DOX ink to finish.
Close-up ...

Peeking adorable, Loll! Love every bit of this - especially the blue sentiment!

I love this adorable snowman trio! With your watercoloring and the black outline it totally looks like you stamped it. I'll have to give that a try. So darned cute, splatters and all!
What a fun die set. Love how you have used it with the frame to create a log. Very clever. Splatters will always do their own thing, which is why I am still so cautious about using them xx
This is so cute! I'm loving your Christmas card designs, I'm feeling quite guilty as I haven't even started mine yet! xx
So cute, Loll, and the black outline was a great idea!
So adorably cute Lol. Especially love the sweet cardinals.
Those guys are just as cute as they could be, Loll.
Love your peeking snowmen - they are so cute. Your colored them really well and adding the pen details is even better. I have a similar die and you have inspired me to get it out and play with it.
I can't help but smile when I see these guys peeking out, Lolly! How fun with these bright fun colors! You have wonderful splattering talent too!
Totally cute, Loll! Love the extras you put into it, it adds so much
This trio is just as cute as they can be! Love the bright blue you used and your fabulous CAS design!
these guys were even cuter IRL, they are adorable on their little wooden log xx
So happy to have seen this in real life - it's even cuter than in the photo. You did a great job adding a sense of dimension with the outlining and layering.
