I started with a fun die I bought quite a while ago (Rickety House - Memory Box). I bought because I saw these wonderful cards made by my friend Leslie. Linking shows that I saw Leslie's cards in Oct. 2022! Yikes ...I didn't realize I had been sitting on this die for so long.
Anyways, it was released as a Halloween die, but it made an adorable house (customized in the new owner's colours) for a "Congratulations on your new home" card. I add sponging on all die pieces, and also the background. And I stamped with some leafy branches behind the house. It's all contained behind a sweet rectangle die-cut aperture with double stitched borders. The sentiment is from an very old stamp set (A Little Sentimental - Clearly Besotted - retired).
Close-up ...
Sending this card to the following challenges:Darnell's IDEAS Calendar - Week 2 - Dies - I used die-cuts for the house and the frame.
NBUS Challenge #86 - First time using this die. :)

You've created such a cute scene for that sweet little house, Loll. That die is so fun and isn't it always great to have more than one occasion for which we can use our stuff?
Agreeing with Michele...I too am happy to see the CAS Christmas challenge coming back! Hopefully it will incent me to get back to creating holiday cards.
What a great new home card, Loll. I can see why you had to have the die and I hope you use it for more little houses.

What a sweet little house, Lolly! Not only will the couple be excited about their new house, but they will have a card to remember that excitement!
This is adorable Loll. I know they will love the customize home. Love how you created the little scene to put the house in. Great card. I am excited to see CAS Christmas Challenge is coming back June 1st, looking forward to it.
Awwwwwww...what a sweet, sweet card to welcome a new home!! I love the colors and wouldn't mind living there myself! I'm sure they'll appreciate this card and maybe even frame it! And it makes me think I should be making a new home card for my 94 year old mom...we just moved her to a retirement home this week, and once she gets over being overwhelmed by it all, I think she's really going to enjoy it!! Hugs. :0)
