Hi everyone. Today is the start of the November CAS Mix Up Challenge, hosted by Jenny. This month's challenge is to use stencils and powdered inks.
I love this time of year, and wanted to make a fall card using my Magicals (powdered inks from Lindy's Stamp Gang). They have a beautiful shimmer that you'll notice in the photos, especially the close-up. I used Sunflowers stencil (Magenta), and magicals (Autumn Maple Crimson, Hag's Wart Orange, Witch's Potion Purple). I just love this combination to make multicoloured sunflowers. The stencil is a trio of sunflowers and I managed to make two CAS cards from the one mixed media panel of stenciling. :)
I used these fun double-stitched frames I bought many years ago from AliExpress. I have used these frames A LOT. They are perfect for framing up CAS designs.
I finished the card with a sentiment (Clearly Besotted - A Little Sentimental) stamped in Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink.
